Milledgeville has come and gone.. so sad. I had the best time, and it was a great girly weekend.. and met some pretty cool people too. I would definitely love to go back someday!
I hated coming back to D-wood... life at home hasn't been 100% and of course it blew up in my face the day I came home. Stress has arisen in my daily life, and sometimes I just wish it would just go away! Seriously.
Plus, I have been dealing with something with my neighbor. She is an elderly woman that I grew attached too for the last 13 years, and at this point I highly doubt she remembers my name. About four years ago the doctors diagnosed her with Alzheimers, and it is really hitting her hard these days. She is very rude to people, including her own family. She thinks we are all crazy. I use to go visit her daily, but again she is rude, and very negative about most topics I try to bring up to her and wants to ignore me. For the last month or so, she has been "feeling" sick. She won't tell anybody what her symptoms are. She always feels cold and that all she complains about, and her poor husband is struggling with the 75 degree heat in their house to keep her satisfied. She hasn't gotten out of bed in about 2 weeks now. I went to visit her but she won't accept my visitation. She thinks she is sick, but her husband thinks it is all mental. She has been to the doctor, and the doctor has verified that too. Poor woman! When I got back from Milledgeville, a lot has happened with the family finally getting involved thanks to my mom and I finally butting in. The family and her husband have decided to put her in an assisted living. The difficult part is that she isn't going to agree with ANY PART of the transaction, and she needs prayers! I am not looking forward to that day of seeing her move, but again, it is what the poor husband deserves, and I just wish that she could understand what her family and neighbors are trying to do for her. She is very unappreciative, but she hasn't always been like that. That's the sad part!
I am officially done with Spring Break as of 8:00 tomorrow morning. UGH! I was a very good girl though, and went to the library to catch up with whatever I forgot during the break. I finished all of my major assignments, and I am off to finish off the semester off strong!!!
