I have overcome my emotional week, thank goodness!
Weekend was fun! Saturday I went to go visit my neighbor at her new place at Brighton Gardens. Her family didn't introduce her to the facility very nicely. They told her that her husband was in the hospital and they needed somewhere for her to go to be taken care of. We (including myself) are surprised that to this day she still remembers that we told her that her husband was in the hospital. She asked about her husband and how he is doing. It's fine, but she thinks that once he is better (which from the beginning he was fine) she is going back home. Wrong approach I think, but whatever...
Then Saturday night our company had the Christmas party... yes Christmas party! Our Christmas party was canceled in December because it snowed, and everybody didn't want to travel in yucky weather. We rescheduled it, and had it Saturday. It was awesome! At the beginning it was weird, and I was the youngest and the only single one there... awkward!!!!! I was also one of the very few that was underdressed... meaning I was a little too casual. I wore kacki business pants and a brown long sleeve shirt. There were women in short dresses and diamond central! Men in suits, and gelled hair. Then others were wearing jeans and nice shirt, so I mean I was in the middle, but the ones that dressed up... omg! Of course, they were all the executives in the office, so I should have understood better. I hung out with the casual crowd, and watched them play pool most of the night. FUN TIMES! I can't wait for next year or actually this Christmas. lol.
I am looking forward to a quick week, and a wonderful weekend next weekend! I am going to Chattanooga, TN for a LPA Regional. I am in need of one, and I feel like I missed it in Savannah. I will be leaving early Friday afternoon since I took work off and stuff for it.
This week is going to be a long one... I feel it coming.
