This is my first week of break, and it has been real good.
I haven't really done anything too exciting, but relax. I figured I would do some extra time at work, but then I figured that once the semester starts up for summer I will regret that. I have stayed an extra hour or two, but I am still is taking my days off.
Next week will probably be the same, but the week will be opening up really soon, and I am just so excited about this summer.
Lately, I have really been looking into what I can do to prepare for my major besides go to school. Georgia State requires students who are majoring in Special Education to have some hands-on experience unless they decide to do paraprofessional teaching while they are in school. That is way too much for me. Anyhow, I have decided what about volunteering for Special Olympics. They will allow me hands-on plus I will get to see how "professionals" handle the athletes. I will be doing the volunteer registration desk for State Games at Emory University since I am new, and it is such a BIG event. Plus I signed up to do the registration table for the GA 400 5K Run too, then there is a BocceFest at Brook Run. It's open to the community, and all of the contributions go towards Special Olympics.
Anyhow, that is been my week in a nutshell.
Update next week, possibly??? lol.
