Good news!

I got an e-mail today that I got a spot in student teaching for this semester for a Special Education classroom. It's in writing.. and I have a teacher. It's not like last semester where I e-mailed a teacher from high school and said HELP, and she said I will be with this teacher and didn't get permission from the principal until I got an answer of no. I frantically interviewing for a spot in other schools, and didn't get one until the week of the assignment being due. This time... GPC did all the work. All I had to do was fill out tedious paperwork, and just wait.I will be student teaching at Huntley Hills ES, and I will be in an Interrelated classroom which basically means that I'll be with kids that have learning disabilities in the general education classroom. I may be placed just in a self-contained resource room though during my student teaching, but I am not 100% sure of that yet. YEAH!!! :)
